From $500 to $700

For the past 10 years, I’ve donated $500 to the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition (WMBC) for every real estate transaction I’ve completed with a mountain biker. To date, I’ve donated over $70,000.

Recently, my client and friend Jeff asked me a simple question: “After 10 years, is the donation still $500?”

It was a fair question—and one that made me stop and reflect. Over the past decade, real estate prices have increased. So it’s only fitting that the amount I give back increases, too.

As of September 2026 sales/closings, I’ll be donating $700 per transaction to the WMBC.

Thank you, Jeff, for asking the question that needed to be asked. And, most importantly, thank you to the WMBC for the incredible work you do to care for our trails, advocate for riders, and strengthen Bellingham’s mountain biking community.

This community has supported my business for years, and I’m proud to increase my support in return.
